[Founder name] began singing before she could read. Her early years were spent in long riyaz sessions with her guru, learning to hold a single Sa until the room went quiet around it.

Alongside the music, she grew up with jyotish. Birth charts were part of family conversation, and so was the old idea that each raga belongs to its own hour.
